A 1 hour bus ride from Jakarta, Bogor Indonesia is far from the maddening crowds and is one of Asia’s most attractive golf getaways . All of the courses offer unique challenges, from the scenic mountain resort courses like Rancamaya, Sentul Highlands and Rainbow Hills … to the beautiful parkland set-up of Bogor Raya, or Greg Norman’s Riverside, carved out of a tropical jungle.
Off the course, too, Bogor has plenty to offer in terms of history, culture and dining.
As well as a presidential palace established by Sir Stamford Raffles, where he stayed as the Governor of Java prior to discovering Singapore, the city of Bogor boasts one of the world’s oldest and largest botanical gardens.
